With some of the lockdown measures being eased including the opening of some key roles don’t despair if you are not back to work yet.
You might be worried by the Coronavirus and the affects it can have on your lifestyle. This may include self-isolating away from your families or dealing with a death. Remember, it is ok to feel anxious during these uncertain times as everybody reacts differently but make sure you look after yourself.
Practical advice from Mind.org includes eating well and staying hydrated, taking care of your immediate environment and balancing your work life.
To our staff, remain in contact with your line manager. If you are unsure who your line manager is – ASK! Like our management team offer support to you, you can offer support to those around you. As Mental Health Awareness Week draws to a close it is essential to highlight the importance of ‘kindness’. We have seen great acts of kindness from our staff during the pandemic including Aamir Khan, one of our events and festivals division personnel, going out to the local community delivering essential care packages as well as Eric Jones giving out welfare items for customers in his role as crowd management, keep up the great work!
If you do find yourself with time on your hands try online courses, free tutorials or learn a new skill. It is important to focus on the present and how we can all play a part in ensuring safety and well-being is paramount.
